Piazza San Marco

On my second day in Venice, the weather improved, and I took public transport to Piazza San Marco, or St Mark's Square in English.

The ferry traveled along the Grand Canal, providing many beautiful sites before arriving at the famous Venetian Square. There were plenty of tourists despite being off peak season, and there was evidence of flooding, which threatens this city.
