My first full day in Sicily's largest city, I started my exploration of Palermo. My images begin at Fontana Pretoria, walking through Quattro Canti, heading southwest past the 12th-century Cathedral. I then passed through the Porta Nuova, with its Moorish statues and entered a less picturesque part of the city.
In this less affluent part of the city, people can be seen selling household goods, fruit and vegetables or street food out of the back of their vans and three-wheeled Apé mini cargo vehicles.

Thanks for sharing another great series of pictures. Love the two vendors on chairs on the roadway with the safety mesh. Wonderful image.
