Aberobello Day Trip

A short train journey from Bari, in the Apulian region of Southern Italy, is Alberobello. Only settled in the sixteenth century, Alberobello is famous for the round stone houses called Trulli, which are built from the region's abundant limestone. No mortar is used in the construction, and the circular stone roof is self-supporting.
